Who is the Puerto Vallarta Tequila Tour at Finca 18 for?This experience is for travelers who want more than just a drink. If you’re curious about agave spirits, enjoy being off the beaten path, and value craft over commercial, you’ll feel right at home. Couples, groups of friends, and solo adventurers are all welcome — no prior knowledge needed, just a sense of curiosity and adventure.

How long is the tour?About 2 hours from start to finish. Add travel time depending on where you’re staying.

What are my transportation options?You can: Arrive on your own (Uber/taxi both work; we’ll help you call a ride back). Use our pickup points (from Zona Romántica to Dreams Hotel — best for small groups). Click here for pickup points and times. Book direct hotel pickup (recommended for groups of 6+). 👉 Full pickup schedule is shared when you reserve.

What should I wear for the tequila tour?Closed-toe shoes are best for walking the grounds. Bring a hat and sunscreen on sunny days; during rainy season, surfaces may be slick.

Someone in my group doesn’t drink — do they still need to pay?Yes. Much of the experience is cultural and educational, and non-drinkers will still enjoy the setting, food pairings, and behind-the-scenes look at agave spirits.

Can I bring children?No. Guests must be 18+ to join.

What spirits will I be tasting on the tequila tour?The on-site sommelier curates tastings different from tour to tour. All Mexican agave spirits including; tequila, mezcal, raicilla, bacanora, sotol, tuxca, and pox could possibly be available to taste.

Can I bring pets?Sorry, no pets — the ranch has animals that make it unsafe for them.

What spirits will I taste?The lineup changes with the season. Beyond tequila, our sommeliers may pour mezcal, raicilla, bacanora, sotol, tuxca, or pox. No two tastings are the same.

Is the tour private?Essential Tour: small group setting. Premium & Luxury: completely private.

Do you ship bottles internationally?No — our bottles are available only here in Mexico. That exclusivity is part of what makes them special.

Do I need to tip?Tips are optional but always appreciated if you enjoyed your experience.

What is your cancellation & reschedule policy?Cancel at least 24 hours before your tour for a full refund. Within 24 hours, you may reschedule once (within 7 days) for a $500 MXN fee. No refunds or reschedules for no-shows.
